Decades of research have shown us that just teaching about climate change and climate science is not enough. And that's why the The Climate Initiative (TCI) created the Learning Lab.

TCI educators developed an approach that allows high school students to delve into complex environmental issues on a local level while still inviting all points of view to the table. Students conduct experiments, contribute to scientific data, study local issues, interview community leaders, and make connections between the global crisis of climate change and their own backyard.

Learning Labs are free, multi-disciplinary modules that introduce climate issues through the classroom (online or in-person) in a non-partisan way and brings them to life in a student's local landscape.
