Born Te’Vaun Stephens, Tay Da Prince is a new rapper and producer bringing storytelling and soul back to Hip-Hop. Hailing from the Springfield-area of Ohio, the grounded 20-year old musician’s writing and themes go way beyond his years and is reflected in his passion for his community and issues affecting society at large. The independent artist produces his own music, which speaks to the soul. Tay Da Prince’s debut single Love One Another, featuring his iconic uncle, John Legend is a message to love yourself and love one another. Released on May 19th, 2020, during the during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Love One Another music video integrated fundraising in partnership with Feeding America with proceeds going to feed families during a time of need. Along with John Legend, the music video boasted cameos that included Jesse Jackson, Master P, Alfre Woodard, Sister Jenna, Nyjah Huston, Dionne Warwick, Sugar Ray Leonard, Louis Gossett Jr., Tina Knowles, King Bach, Big Boy, David Oyelowo, Storm Reid, Asante Blackk, Shawn Stockman, Nate Parker, Byron Allen, Warryn Campbell, Glen Turman, Nigel Hudson, and Benjamin Crump. In August 2020 Tay Da released his highly anticipated debut mixtape, Story of My Life.
