Virtual Workshop: Introduction To Yin Yoga

Yoga and Pilates Teacher, Suzie Fenn, helps to bring balance to your busy life by introducing the practise of Ying Yoga.

Many of us feel overwhelmed by our busy modern lives, but when coupled with the additional stress of the past 18 months, many of us are operating under the pressure of chronic stress and fatigue. 

In this free virtual session, Yoga and Pilates Teacher, Suzie Fenn, introduces us to ‘Ying Yoga’. Most of us live a ‘Yang’ lifestyle which is fast paced, busy and stressful – even our exercise can be fast paced with a Yang focus. Yin Yoga helps to bring balance into our modern lives, teaching us to slow down, become more receptive and settle into stillness. 

This slower-paced, meditative form of yoga helps to balance our energy, giving you space to tune into your body and mind. Yin Yoga blends traditional yoga principles and postures with poses that are held for a longer amount of time, allowing you to build strength and more mobility. In addition to these great benefits for our bodies Yin Yoga is shown to have a significant impact on reducing stress and anxiety.

Suzie is a yoga and pilates teacher and sports massage therapist. She truly believes movement is medicine and is passionate about teaching her students to move in a way that honours their unique body.
