SubSpace Sessions take the live music experiences of the Charles Hayden Planetarium to new dimensions, bringing the innovative and groundbreaking work to you virtually! Don’t miss these premiere events that fuse together the music of some of Boston’s best artists and bands with cutting-edge Planetarium visuals!

The Museum of Science has partnered with an incredible lineup of Boston musicians to create the ultimate audio-visual show that fans can stream directly into their homes, experiencing the music they love in an entirely new way. With imagery developed and adapted from the avant-garde technology of the fulldome Planetarium medium, each SubSpace Sessions installment is a unique visual journey, inspired by the music of acts like Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys, Abraham, and more!

On Thursday, July 9 don’t miss the premiere of SubSpace Sessions: Dutch ReBelle. Dutch ReBelle is known for “mixing introspective, punch-lined filled lyrics with heart pounding production” and she returns to collaborate with the team from the Planetarium for one night only! ReBelle earned national attention early on with electrifying performances at SXSW, A3C and the Brooklyn Hip-Hop festival. Publications like XXL noted ReBelle “spearheading her way into blogs because of her poetic style…lyrical bravado…and fiery talent.”

Having earned the title “Queen of the Bean,” ReBelle solidified her local reputation as a “ReBelle with a Cause” (The Boston Globe) with her 2012 “Married to the Music” EP. Soon after her “Sunday Morning” music video was featured on MTV’s Rap Fix Live, ReBelle was named “Best Hip-Hop Artist” by the Boston Music Awards and featured on the cover of The Improper Bostonian.

Don’t miss an all new way of experiencing the electrifying and singular music of Dutch ReBelle like never before.

All SubSpace programs are intended for audiences 18+.
