Justice Matters to US – A social justice series

A monthly series of workshops based on the four principles of social jusitice.

Justice Matters to US

is a series of curated events discussing the practice of social justice within our communities, as experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic and George Floyd uprisings. Each month will discuss 1 of the 4 principles of social justice framed around the theme of Covid-19, with community leaders, leading advocates, and creative artists. Along with conversations, there will be opportunities for interactive collaboration amongst attendees and facilitators through breakout groups.

Equity/Diversity – Thurs. January 13, 2022 – Speakers: Chandler Bazemore, Senior Development Manager – OutRight Action International; Erika Dickson – disability justice and transgender issues attorney

Engagement – Thurs. February 10, 2022 – Film screening of Fighting Dark followed by Q&A

All events are from 6:30pm – 8:00pm via Zoom, except for the last workshop will be in person at a location TBD.
