Freezer Magic with Ali Rosen
September 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm EDT
Class Description: Take a peek inside your freezer: is it a jumble of forgotten, freezer-burned mysteries? It doesn’t have to be that way. Join guest teacher Ali Rosen, the Emmy- and James Beard Award-nominated host of Potluck with Ali Rosen and author of the recent “Modern Freezer Meals,” for a class where you’ll learn how to use your freezer to its greatest advantage. Ali will give you all the information you need to answer the question, “Can I freeze this?” and walk you through freezing fundamentals (hint: air is your enemy). To demonstrate good freezing technique, she’ll capture the flavors of summer as we make three things together: summer fruit jam, tomato sauce and an any-herb-you-like pesto. Each one comes with its own set of freezing tips and tricks, plus endless ideas for variations and invention. Join us for a class that will turn your freezer into a source of inspiration.
