Cooking Class – Mother’s Day “Market to Table” Brunch!

A virtual, live cooking class featuring local, seasonal specialty crops from around Solano County.

May marks the start of many farmers markets around Solano County, and of course Mother’s Day! What better way to celebrate than preparing a delicious “Dutch Baby” – a large fluffy pancake excellent for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dessert. Join Chef Lisa Núñez-Hancock as she prepares a savory “market to table” version, packed with Spring vegetables. This verdant Dutch Baby is festive and fast, and gets its striking color, freshness, and flavor from the addition of spinach and tender herbs. Chef Lisa will also prepare a refreshing Springtime mocktail/cocktail using seasonal farmer’s market produce. Sustainable Solano staff will moderate the class with an audience Q & A at the end.
