Botanical Watercolor for Wellbeing
April 6 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm EDT
Develop a practice of mindful relaxation and connect more closely with the environment in this art class led by AMI Community Fellow and artist Sophie May. With step by step instruction and inspiration from historical and modern artists, attendees will create their own artwork featuring plants and fungi.
Please come with sturdy paper, a set of watercolors, a drawing pencil, an eraser, a plastic surface for mixing colors, a couple of brushes, a cup of water, and a paper towel.
At the end of the workshop, there will be an opportunity to build community by sharing your creation and reflecting on the health benefits of art-making.
No experience or artistic expertise required!
