Frenchy and the Punk / Batfrogs
The art and music of Samantha Stephenson and Scott Helland. They are Frenchy and the Punk, an internationally touring duo that have been performing at Faerie Festivals, Pagan Festivals, Steampunk Events as well as other alternative music festivals and events since 2005. Scott is a consummate musician having his start performing as a young teenager in the Western Massachusetts Hardcore Punk scene back in the 80s. Samantha, immigrated from Europe and has had a life long interest and participation in art, dance and music. Together the pair create upbeat, energetic and energizing music.
Their art and designs are under the moniker of Batfrogs. The symbol of the Batfrog became their totem of sorts early on when Scott took his love of frogs and Samantha’s love of bats and combined them to become the symbol of Frenchy and the Punk.
