The World Ayahuasca Conference is an international event organized by the International Centre for Ethnobotanical Education, Research and Service (ICEERS).
ICEERS is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming society’s relationship with psychedelic plants. We do this by engaging with some of the fundamental issues resulting from the globalization of ayahuasca, iboga, and other ethnobotanicals. We envision a future where psychoactive plant practices are valued and integrated parts of society.
Today’s event marks one year since third World Ayahuasca Conference was held in Girona, Spain. It was the world’s largest ever ayahuasca event with over 1400 attendees and concluded with the indigenous delegation issuing an historic declaration calling for the protection of Mother Earth, indigenous territories, and ayahuasca.
